Python vs. MATLAB

In this video, which I found when searching for tutorials and examples for Psychtoolbox3, we get a long talk on the advantages of MATLAB and Python. That is, we learn in which aspects either language can be better than the other. I think this is great. When using software in Psychology research some may want to choose a programming language. Python and MATLAB can be useful knowledge. Thus, learning ONE of them may prove very useful for your future research. For instance, there are great Python libraries for psychophysics experiments (e.g., see my reviews; MATLAB; Software in Psychology: MATLAB and Psychtoolbox, Python; Software to use in Psychology: PsychoPy and Software to use in Psychology: Expyriment).
